About Rachel

Hi there! My name is Rachel, welcome to Loner and Rebel! I am a 26 year old law student graduating in May 2011 from Penn State University. This will be my third degree in 5 years(I already have two bachelor of art degrees from Penn State in Psychology and Sociology). Needless to say, I am very ready to be done!

When I am not busy fine-tuning my lawyering skills, I am on the search for inspiration. I draw my inspiration from pretty much everything because there is just so much beauty in this world. I started this blog as a way for me to chronical my ever-changing inspirations and express my creativity as I continue on my journey through life (I don’t mean that to sound as corny as it does). It’s more of a personal outlet as a way to let my mind escape the daunting legal world, even if just for a little bit. Although I have created this blog for personal fulfillment, I am more than happy to share my journey with whoever is willing to take part in it.

I named the blog “Loner and Rebel” after my love for Pee Wee Herman. I think the statement “I’m a Loner, Dottie…a Rebel” perfectly describes how I feel sometimes. No, I am not the emo type that hates my parents and society. I just think that, at least as it applies to me, being a loner does not mean that I am hermit that keeps to herself. It means that I am comfortable being by myself when I need to be. I love spending time alone. And the rebel part…well that just means that I refuse to follow exactly what society tells me. That applies to most aspects of my life.
